It's been a while, but...

we are still going on. Well, at first I got lazy and than a lot of other, mostly work-related things came up. Working overtime at weekends doesn't leave enough power do concentrate on this project, but better times are in sight and after Xmas I think all will go a lot faster.
By the way, as I mentioned before, I will do a v2 of this scanlation, so please point out any mistakes I made in translation and typesetting.

Since Nyaa Torrents is back I uploaded the torrents for chapter 58 and put the links on the download page, although I assume, most of you have got the chapter already. I hope that Nyaa will be stable now for a while, I must admit that I almost panicked, when they went offline.
As for other things, cleaning of chapter 59 is going on smoothly and I am already working on the translation of volume 7. Until than...

Faster than expected - the next chapter!

It were not four but five double pages to redraw and it went smoother than I had hoped for (maybe I get the hang of it). Be ready for some incredible dance scenes in this chapter.
Since NyaaTorrents is currently down (they are under heavy attack) I put up magnet-links in the download section and I hope NyaaTorrents will be up again soon. Otherwise I have to look for alternatives. But don't worry, there is always a way...

It contains the hours before Subarus performence, with an awesome doublepage. I hope you enjoy it. The next chapter will be the dance, with four doublepages to redraw, ranging from very easy to very difficult. I don't really know, how to do it yet. Maybe it will take a while, but I am sure, I can figure it out.

A bit delayed, but it's out.

Since the new anime season began I checked out all the new series and was distracted from working on MOON, but now, after I confirmed, that most of the series aren't worth looking at (as always), I have more time at hand and I am aiming for a release every three weeks - at least 'till October. I also had to halt the typesetting because I found a double page I overlooked during the cleaning and had to stitch it together, but here it is, chapter 56:

Thank You for Your Support

I'm happy that the first chapter we released was well received in spite of the mistakes in the English version. I knew we were lacking in the quality control, but I released it anyway, because I didn't want to wait any longer. Therefore we are still looking for some one to check the English  version. Until then we continue with our work and try our best.
The script of chapter 55 is back and typesetting is going smoothly. The raws for volume 6 are good, the raws for volume 7 and 8 are also usable, but the raws for volume 9 are crap. Unless some can provide better raws I fear I  will have to do the scans  by myself, but it will be a while until then.
I also updated the download section with the Scanlations from AzakuraHime because Mangatraders was hacked and is currently down. It is convenient to reach all chapters of Moon from one place, I think. 

This is the logo I made for our group, but fear not, I will not plaster it on every page of the manga I release.I seriously don't like such things and my aim is to make a scanlation that I would like to read myself.

Our first release is out and volume 5 of MOON is finished hereby. A lot of decisions had do be made and a lot of things to be done to make this a consistent release over all the remaining chapters. Therefore we hope,that the next releases will be out much faster. Please tell us any mistake we made or suggestions you may have about the next releases - we eventually make a v2 after a while (it depends). You can find the links in our download section.

I'm back from a short vacation and everything needs more time than i had expected, but typesetting is done now and I am waiting for QC. Until than: here is a preview of the first page of chapter 54:

and we hope, that we can publish the chapter this weekend. We did some revisions of the translation, even to page three from the last post, but now we are content with it. Proofreading of the Japanese-German translation of volume 6 is also done and I will start with volume 7 while waiting for QC and the German-English translation.This is it for today and have a nice weekend.

About Raws

 Actually, I will use the raws available on the net. They are pre-cleaned and of decent quality. At first I thought about doing my own scans, but considering the quality of Azakurahime's release and the extra time I would need ( I am doing this almost alone, with a little help from some friends) I decided that this will be good enough. Also I hesitated to destroy my tankobons of MOON to make proper scans.

There are still a lot of things to do, before I can start releasing chapter after chapter, but we are moving forward.

First Project: 'Moon - Subaru Solitude Standing' by Soda Masahito

I red this wonderful Manga by Soda Masahito: 'Dance!! Subaru' and it was great. Than I started to read Moon, but to my disappointment Azakurahime abandoned the Scanlation in October 2011 with v05c53 and vanished from the net. After waiting a while for an other group to pick it up, I finally got sick of waiting and started to do the project by myself. I'm working on it for a couple of months now and translated it till the end of Volume 6 - into German. But don't worry, there will be an English version too.The first chapter (v05c54) will be finished in a about a week, when this blog looks a little more complete.
